“Our desire is to address the root causes of purity issues rather than merely communicating to the masses to “abstain from having sex.” It is not our heart to be the cosmic”NO,” but rather call the young to a higher standard of living, imparting value for their hearts and encouraging them to walk in all that God has created them to be.”
Hope Women’s Center provides confidential small group sessions and resources to promote purity. These sessions are for teens and women interested in committing or recommitting to abstinence.
The Whole You class explores what it truly means to be healthy. It helps our client identify the 5 aspects that make up “the whole you,” which are physical, emotional, social, spiritual and mental. Through the curriculum, our clients learn how to have a balanced well-being.
Many clients are non-believers. Through building a grace-filled relationship, they become curious to who Jesus Christ is. Through small group sessions weexplore who Jesus is through the book of John.
Hope volunteers are called “Client Advocates” and are truly incremental to our service. Over a two-month period our Client Advocates are trained to serve with excellence and love our clients well. They work alongside our volunteer nurses to educate the clients about all aspects of their options and help them process their thoughts on each option. For those with life decisions, we find resources to fit their needs. Our Client Advocates come to Hope desiring to serve their Lord well and leave equipped with practical ways to make a difference in this world.
